Ebony Bones
It’s all about colour, attitude and stage presence with Ebony Bones. She’s a one of a kind producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and London girl. Although she first surfaced in late 2007, it’s time we where all reminded that she’s still around. Still no album yet tho……….
Thecocknbullkid
Well, after a ‘interesting’ weekend of wasted journeys, canceled gigs and soap opera style relationship trauma, I find myself unexpectedly sat in a room in Bristol using my brothers flash new PC. So I’ve decided to post about one of my fave artists right now. Thecocknbullkid is Anita Blay from London. Self written and self produced, she flows out a sort of Electro pop vibe with nice beats, nice style and super girl lyrics. Get dancing cos she’s fab! Lilz x

La Roux Remixes
You’ll probably know her by now as the electro songstress with the distinctive hair and even more noticeably, the distinctive voice. Perhaps the two best remixes of La Roux tunes around (in my opinion anyway) are these. The Hostage remix of ‘In for the Kill’ is 90′s pianotastic! I can’t get enough of them right now. Hope you like? x

The RGBs
So, how good are these guys? Well if high energy, electro pop girls are you’re thing then you won’t be dissapointed! The RGBs are a London four piece tipped for the music big time. The swaggering attitude on display is a good indication that you’re not getting the industry standard bunch of girls singing the latest crap to be puked out of the overfed world of commercial popland. What you do get is a raw sound with real instruments and clever lyrics that makes you wanna throw yourself around and get messy! Viva the electro fem-pop revolution!
The Total Drop
Hooray! My fave band this week are The Total Drop an art rock/new wave band formed in New Cross in southeast London. They have been around since 2005 and released a self titled 8 track album. Check out the vid for their track Your Excellency. It’s a little raw but there’s Roller skates involved!
Yay!
