Memory Cassette
I love the dreamy, spaced out feeling of warm summer evenings in the country (especially after a generous helping of white wine and cider) Just throw in a pinch of electronica and a lady with a beautiful voice and you have a kind of feeling of where Memory Cassette will take you. Now there’s bound to be comparisons with Goldfrapp or Royksopp flyin’ about and rightly so as these guys have used all the good ground work Alison and co have done, sprinkled a little folk in to the mix, added some beautifully soft synth melodies, a tea spoon of magic powder and brought it all right up to date. Simply gorgeous.
